A Little Bright Light Shines Through Dark, Smoky Clouds

There are a lot of great things happening behind the scenes of the wildfires disaster response. So, it’s always nice to report when efforts make a difference. This time we’re happy to report that 150 fires have been contained. Today, our unified response leadership are again taking to the road and skies to survey the damage. We caught up with Cal OES Director Mark Ghilarducci, CalFIRE Director Ken Pimlott, FEMA Regional Administrator Bob Fenton as well as CHP Acting Commissioner Warren Stanley, USFS Regional Fire Director Robert Baird and National Guard Adjutant General David Baldwin  before they headed out, to get their thoughts about what they’re seeing.
