    Can we get help. We had to evacuate last Thursday from Shasta lake with all of our pets and are staying in a motel. We are charging everything because we have no food, little clothing, and so many things we take for for granted everyday. All our food has been destroyed because electricity was off and our freezer foods melted. We just don’t have the means to replace this. Thanks,

      There are evacuation centers all over the area. Go to one of these places that are listed below.

      Evacuation Shelters, Centers, and Other Places to Stay
      Evacuation shelters
      •Red Cross Shelter: Shasta College, 11555 Old Oregon Trail, Redding. Offers shelter, food, water, and medical services. As of Saturday (7/28), THIS SHELTER IS AT FULL CAPACITY, but they are still available for drop-in services.
      •Red Cross Shelter: Simpson University, 2211 College View Dr, Redding. Offers shelter, food, water, and medical services.
      •Red Cross Shelter: Foothill High School, 9733 Deschutes Road, Palo Cedro. Offers shelter, food, water, and medical services.
      •Red Cross Shelter: Trinity High School, 321 Victory Lane, Weaverville. Offers shelter, food, water, and medical services.
      •Red Cross Shelter: CrossPointe Community Church, 2960 Hartnell Ave. Redding. Offers shelter, food, water, and medical services.
      •Red Bluff Vineyard: 738 Walnut St, Red Bluff. Saturday (7/28), opening their facility for Carr Fire evacuees for day use. Offers food and water, air conditioning, water, bathroom facilities (no showers), and will have movies playing throughout the day. Offers overnight stay as well.
      •Rolling Hills Casino: 2655 Everett Freeman Way, Corning. Offers cots but must provide own bedding. As of Saturday (7/28), THIS SHELTER IS AT FULL CAPACITY.
      •Grace Baptist Church: 3782 Churn Creek Road, Redding. Offers shelter, food, water, and medical services. As of Monday (7/30), THIS SHELTER IS NEARING FULL CAPACITY
      •Valley Christian Center: 2831 Freeman St., Anderson. Offers shelter, food, water, clothing, diapers, toiletries, and supplies. As of Monday (7/30), 2;30pm, this shelter has 20 beds available.
