INSIDE LOOK: Evacuation Orders Lifted in Santa Barbara, Repopulation Begins

While the Presidential Major Disaster Declaration to bolster ongoing state and local recovery efforts for the Southern California wildfires awaits approval, Santa Barbara County has lifted all evacuation orders related to the Thomas Fire. There are more than 14,000 people displaced due to evacuations; now many of them are going home. But what they’ll find when they get there may leave them emotionally devastated. In this episode of Inside Look we follow one homeowner as she returns, and suddenly finds herself in a desperate search for one invaluable item. This story also provides awareness of important resources available to those returning home since their evacuation.
