Preliminary investigations revealed that the driver of an Infiniti G35 crossed into oncoming traffic, leading to a collision with a Honda Pilot SUV travelling in the opposite direction.

Tragically, both the driver and a passenger in the Infiniti, who were not wearing seat belts at the time, were pronounced dead at the scene. The two occupants of the Honda Pilot sustained injuries and were subsequently airlifted to a nearby hospital for treatment.
