The Attack
Witnesses described the scene as terrifying when a man suddenly began choking a woman at the checkout. Amidst the chaos, several shoppers, including a young teen, rushed to her aid. Videos circulating show the suspect, later identified as 34-year-old Rejean Tabor, turning his aggression toward those who tried to help.
Aftermath and Arrest
The police were alerted, and officers arrived promptly to take Tabor into custody, who had been released from jail less than two days prior to this incident. The brave individuals who intervened played a crucial role in preventing further harm before authorities arrived.
The woman, who was initially attacked and remains unidentified, was transported to the hospital in stable condition, cared for by her family. Remarkably, she didn’t know her assailant.
