Reports indicated that by 9 p.m., the suspect was still holding a hostage inside the vehicle, located at the intersection of Robertson Boulevard and Burton Way, right on the border of Beverly Hills and Beverly Grove.
The early confrontation with law enforcement occurred around 3 a.m. when the suspect allegedly used his vehicle to strike a sheriff’s deputy in Lennox, near Inglewood, prior to the pursuit.
