Another Arrest in a Disturbing Pattern
A notorious figure in Glendale and Burbank, a 39-year-old man has been taken into custody again for inappropriate behavior towards women. Calese Crowder, infamously recognized as a “butt sniffer,” was apprehended by Glendale police this past Friday, marking yet another chapter in his troubling history.
Details of the Arrest
Crowder’s latest arrest occurred around 3:30 p.m. on South Brand Boulevard, a bustling area known for its commercial activity. According to authorities, he was detained for violating his probation conditions stemming from previous offenses. He is currently being held without bail at Men’s Central Jail in downtown Los Angeles, awaiting a future court appearance.
The local police responded to multiple reports about a suspicious male at a retail store on Glenoaks Boulevard. Witnesses described Crowder’s actions as crouching and attempting to engage in inappropriate behavior towards other customers.
As officers investigated the initial complaint, reports indicated that Crowder had moved to a nearby Marshalls department store where staff were monitoring his behavior, describing him as creeping through the aisles. After reviewing surveillance footage and interviewing witnesses, police recognized Crowder from prior incidents and placed him under arrest.
Crowder’s criminal history includes multiple arrests for similar offenses. In July 2025, he was caught after sniffing a woman’s rear at a Nordstrom Rack in Burbank. Earlier this year, Glendale police reported that he faced accusations of peeping on a family, among other alarming behaviors that have been documented in various retail locations across the region.
