As an area of low pressure settles in, temperatures are forecasted to drop significantly, with highs falling into the mid-to-upper 60s during the weekend. Showers are likely to begin on Saturday, with chances ranging from 30% to 50% across various regions, and lingering into Sunday morning.

Regional Forecast

In Los Angeles and Orange counties on Friday, expect a high of around 75 degrees and a nighttime low of 52 degrees. By Saturday, the weather shifts, making way for rain.

The valleys and Inland Empire will see similar conditions, with a Friday high of 77 degrees and a low of 47. Rain chances ramp up to 50% on Saturday, and showers may continue through Sunday morning.

At the beaches, the day will start off mild, with highs of 68 degrees and lows dipping to 52, but the weekend is expected to bring a 30% chance of showers.

Mountain communities need to prepare for chillier conditions. On Friday, temperatures will reach a high of 59 degrees, tumbling down to 28 at night. Snow is also a possibility at higher elevations as the rain creeps in.

Meanwhile, desert areas can expect warmer temperatures, starting Friday with highs around 75 degrees and lows near 51. A 40% chance of rain is also on the horizon for the weekend.
